Hello you Health-nuts! Well, I hope you are or at least aspiring health nuts! Learning to love the foods that your body loves can be challenging, but it is fun as you explore new and wonderful foods or foods that you thought you didn’t like, then finding a recipe that makes them a new, amazing option for you! Getting in a rut with food is the reason most people become – shall we say – LESS CHOOSY! We make choices out of convenience and not out of wisdom.  Listen to your health coach and do these things this week! The biggest change you need, is changing your mind.  My job is to get you to THINK differently, because it is your thoughts that got you here (or lack of thought – sorry). So LISTEN and DO:

• Make good choices as you begin (or begin again) your journey! Be aware. Be wise. Care about what you put in your mouth.
• You are important! Your needs matter! Cook yourself a meal even when there is no one else home to cook for!
• Learn how to use your My Fitness Pal and Food Scores apps – some of you haven’t even downloaded them yet! (yes, I know, I see!)
• Begin Journaling your Body, Soul, and Spirit world. Write down your thought about your journey with food. Don’t be shy. Get it out. (it will come out some way!)
• Sit up straight. Engage your core! Do your squats putting dishes away or unloading and folding laundry.
• Walk with purpose and be “on a mission”! Do not lumber thought life hunched over and sloth-ing along.
• Don’t be lazy! Get up early and get going! When you are at work, WORK!
• Food is not your friend! Food is FUEL so that you can spend time with friends.
• Don’t wait for you family! If your husband’s attitude sucks and he is a downer, then let him suck and be a downer. You do not have to suck or be a downer. The best way to get a family member on board is to SHOW THEM THE CHANGE! BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN YOUR FAMILY. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORKPLACE.
• Read your affirmations and choose your top three – then tell me what they are and how you will implement them.
• Stay in touch. Text me your thoughts, needs, feelings. I can’t help you, if you don’t talk to me. I’M GOOD, BUT NOT THAT GOOD – I don’t read minds. I pray for your success, but He won’t do it for you, and WE can’t do it without you, and YOU can’t do it without us!
