Get up off of that thing! You know what I’m talking about. Don’t sit around so much! Are you listening to me? 🙂 Most people spend 8-12 hours sitting down, which has very serious metabolic ramifications. Sitting is actually worse for you than secondhand smoke! It raises your risk for other cancers as well, not to mention obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Standing up as much as possible and moving about more during your day can help improve your metabolic function so that your body can better process what you eat. Challenge for the week: Get up off of that thing! Move move. Stand more. Sit less.
