I have been teaching the Good-Better-Best philosophy since I began teaching about whole food eating in 2000. I am now writing a book about it, but it is slow-going since I am a busy health coach, and love helping my clients achieve successful nutrition health and wellness! It will get done. I promise myself (and you).
Fresh is always best. Frozen is next best. In fish, in veggies, in anything really. I am a “fresh food” person so I do not eat much in boxes or cans, but real life doesn’t always allow us to do what is BEST, so sometimes we have to settle for GOOD. Good, Better, Best solutions to nutrition questions is what I am always sorting out for my clients. I do not always have answers to these since I do not always know how ready a client is to eat “clean” so my goal is to get my clients from terrible to bad, from bad to good, from good to better, and from better to best! It is up to us to determine where they are on the grid! Again, not always easy, since good/better/best is a matter of perspective. 🙂 Some people are more ready than I think they are at first analysis, and some people are not as ready as I want them to be, so I take a step at a time. For some people I may be too slow, and for others too fast!
I can only answer questions that are asked. I try to address the issues that come up, and not to answer questions that you are not asking. The best client-coach relationships that I have are those that ask questions, and trust me and my sources. We come up with the BEST solutions together. How ready are you? What do you want to learn? Let’s get together.
