Yoga MATters!

Yoga can do more than just strengthen and tone your body. In fact, it can do much more – especially for women. It can protect and build our muscles, and since muscle strength helps support our bones as we age, it’s a win-win!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Pinktober

It is breast cancer awareness month. I decided to use my blog to provide some controversial research about this month’s tidal wave of pinkwashing propaganda. Many of you know that I am a two-time cancer survivor (last of which was breast cancer in 1999).  However, you may not know that I am most definitely NOT a fan of Susan G Komen and here’s why:

Why in the Cell am I so Tired?!

If you feel you don’t have enough energy, it may be because your body has problems producing enough ATP and thus providing cells with enough energy. My Prescription for Living Long and Strong

If you know me or my wellness philosophy at all, then you would know that I am not – at all, even remotely – a proponent of prescriptions in the form of pills, patches, potions, lotions, or anything chemical, synthetic, or chemistry-lab created. 60 Goals by 60 Years Old!

Lego is celebrating 6 decades with Stephanie Wolfe! It’s okay, I’ll share my 60th years with the most famous toy in our country.  BUT, I’ll bet they didn’t plan to complete 60 Goals by 60 Years Old!  I did!  It is my 60 x 60 List! (60 by 60). You see, I found out that Lego and I will be 60 years old this year.  (Well, I already knew I’d be 60, but I didn’t know about Lego.)  Yep, I leave the 50s behind on July 11, 2018.  My goal since January has been to complete a list of things I want to do by the time I turn the big 6-0! I have been working through my list with enthusiasm (and some anxiety since anyone who knows me, knows I am ruled by lists; my lists have lists).

Cost of Eating Healthy

The benefits of eating healthy far outweigh the cost of eating healthy.  If you have ever said or heard someone say, "Healthy eating is too expensive!" or "I can't afford to eat organic." Well, I bet you don't hear it as much as I do!  However, I LOVE to hear this! I...
